White Card: Work Safely in the Construction Industry (CPCCOHS1001A)

Details: To work on a building site in New South Wales it is a requirement that everyone holds a current Occupational Health and Safety White Card, as it is known in the industry. 

Topics Include: Emergencies and injury management OH&S in the workplace Identification, assessment and control of hazards Overview of the industry legislation.

Proof of Identity List:

FULL POI Documents:

  • RTA issued NSW drivers license current or expired up to two years with card number
  • NSW photo id card current or expired up to two years.

PRIMARY POI Documents:

  • Certificate of Aboriginality
  • A current photo card issued by the NSW registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages. 
  • An Australian full birth certificate showing parental details 
  • An overseas birth certificate showing parental details, provided a passport or an official Australian Travel document is also shown 
  • Australian citizenship document issued by DIMIA
  • A current photo ID card for the NSW police force officer or Australian Defence Force 
  • A current RTA issued photo firearms license or one that expired in the last two years 
  • A current document of identity issued by the Australian Passport office 
  • Australian immigration papers issued by the commonwealth department of immigration and multicultural and indigenous affairs 
  • A current driver’s license from another Australian state or territory that expired within the last two years 
  • A current overseas passport 
  • A current RTA issued NSW security industry license or one that has expired within the last two years 

SECONDARY POI Documents:

  • Passbook account statement up to one year old 
  • Current credit/account card 
  • Current Australian government entitlement card 
  • Current Australian government Medicare card 
  • Electoral card or evidence of electoral enrolment up to two years old 
  • Australian Defence discharge papers up to two years 
  • Education certificate of enrolment up to two years
